Hello, I’m Kez – a pyrography artist with a heart full of fire and a passion for realism. For me, there’s something magical about turning a piece of wood into something extraordinary, where each burn carries a little bit of my soul. I’ve been creating pyrography since 2017, and every piece I create still feels like a new adventure.
But my love for pyrography isn't just about art – it's about the joy of seeing others discover their own creative spark. When I first started, I remember feeling overwhelmed, unsure, and totally lost when it came to knowing how to turn my vision into something real. But through trial, error, and a lot of patience, I found my rhythm. And now, I’m on a mission to help you do the same.
I teach others to embrace their own creative journey, whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique. My Phoenix Academy is designed to help artists at every stage break free from self-doubt and start creating work they’re proud to share with the world.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me in my workshop, surrounded by the scent of wood and the hum of my tools – a place that feels as much like home as it does a sanctuary. My family is my heart, and whether we’re raising five kids, wrangling four cats, or cuddling with our dog, I believe in nurturing creativity in every corner of my life. It’s a busy, often chaotic, but incredibly fulfilling existence that fuels my art.
Art has always been a way for me to escape and breathe life into what’s inside – and I want the same for you. There’s nothing like that moment when the lines start flowing, the shading comes together, and your piece finally feels like it’s alive. I’ll be here to guide you through every step of the way, from your first wobbly line to creating art that you can truly call your own.
